Being a Writer:
·        Recognize and use past, present and future verb sentences.
·        Write paragraphs using past, present and future verb tenses.
·        Identifying paragraphs.
·        Identifying the main idea in a paragraph.
·        Insert a paragraph symbol ( ) wherever a new paragraph should begin.
·        Punctuation – Commas – add the missing commas to a paragraph.
·        Write a paragraph using commas in a series.
·        Capitalization: Proper nouns including ethnicities, languages and religions.


Spelling:
·        Greek and Latin Roots – Spelling Words.
·        Negative Prefixes – Spelling Words.
·        Syllable-ment  – Spelling Words.

·        Syllables with  -ant and  -ent. Spelling Words
·        Syllables with  -ance and -ence. Spelling Words.
·        Suffixes that mean a person ‘who’, or a thing ‘that’. Spelling Words.
